Whatever governments claim, the truth is opposite

Whatever the governments and the (medical) authorities say about the Corona pandemic in their countries, the real truth is the opposite. That is a good way to determine the truth by simply when the governments say it is bad, that means it is good. Above all of that, governments are acting like the old dinosaurs. When such huge animal was wounded, it took some time before they felt it. The same with the governments. There are mutations detected in the coronaviruses from UK, Brazil and South Africa and after a couple of weeks they take (some) measures. Of course it is already too late to stop it. It's like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.

The new president is doing it even worse.  After weeks of such reports about the UK and South African variants of the coronavirus, he is finally closing access of non-US citizens  coming from those countries alone. Never mind that those variations are already everywhere in the world.

France

Or the governments are lying or they respond on information days ago. As we will see, the infections are not so bad.

Let us start with France. The government and authorities are screaming and moaning about how bad things are. Last Sunday, 24 January, the daily infections went down with 30%! The numbers of recoveries in France are unreliable, so I will not even mention it. The mortality went down with 34%. The infections peaked at November 2 2020, and the mortality peaked April 15 2020. Let us see what the situation is over a longer period of time.

One word of caution about the Active Cases in France. Active cases are the people who are currently (or at a certain date) infected. Active cases are calculated by the cases - new infections - recoveries.

Because France has no reliable data about the accurate number of people recovered, the chart about active cases is not accurate. The reality would be that the trend is going down over time, just like the rest of the indicators.

So the situation starts to get better and the "curve is going down".

Vaccinations

France vaccinated totally 1,026,871 at the moment (yesterday), 35 days in the vaccination campaign, 29,029 vaccines per day, 73% behind schedule of the worldwide vaccination campaign. With this speed, it will take the France 3.7 years to vaccinate 60% of the population (needed for the herd immunity). Furthermore, France vaccinated 1.57% of the population or 2.62% of the population needed for herd immunity (the real number).

The infections peaked at October 29 2020, and the mortality peaked April 15 2020. Let us see what the situation is over a longer period of time.

India

The corona pandemic in India is actually very special. We will see that the trend in the number of infections and active cases is going down, and that without any effects of any vaccination effort until now.

Conclusion

With all the countries being discussed here, all of them have positive trends about the new daily infections.

Furthermore, what can I say? All those countries mentioned here in the article have access to the same data as you and I have. It is data, which can be accessed by everyone (look at the download section of this page).

My point here is that many countries, which suppose to have hired the best specialists what heir country has to offer, is so wrong in accessing and reporting the pandemic situation. I don't know what the reason is for that bad performance.  Why is their data so wrong?

  1. Is it for political reasons?
  2. Is it pure incompetence?
  3. Is it pure ignorance?

Whatever the reason is, I watched today Sky TV International (it is an English news broadcast, one of the few good ones), some medical Israeli official was being interviewed and caught her in five plain lies. Then there is the talk about the vaccination passports, which pops up everywhere. That is really premature, because when the efficiency of the vaccine is similar like flu (about 45%-50%), than such vaccine or passport doesn't do a meaningful thing.

The Vaccine. Is it finally working?

I can't say that there is a strong indication that the downward trend in infections and death is caused by the virus. Maybe the UK might be, but not likely (11.3% vaccinated). Neither the US (1.39% vaccinated). The UAE and Israel might be, except that the UAE has a trend upward for the mortality. Israel is 68% vaccinated (for the herd immunity part of the population). So it might be that the virus in Israel might have finally its effect. But it might also be the effect of the lockdown (which produces a peak of infections before it stabilizes). We can't tell.

All other countries mentioned in this article have improvements, but it is still too early to say if this happens because of the vaccine. And looking at the low parts of the populations vaccinated, it isn't likely.

  • And the question if you can trust governments? No. I don't trust them for one penny.
  • And the question if you can trust science? No way you can trust those people.
  • And can you trust hospitals? In a way, yes. But certain people there produces or produced fake news about overcrowded hospitals and when I took a look (like so many others), they were half empty.
  • And can you trust the (mainstream) media? With one exception I know of (Sky News international), all the (mainstream) media is corrupt.

An example about corrupt mainstream media? This is part of an interview.

The journalist "... began by asking Paul to admit the "election was not stolen" - to which Paul responded by saying "The debate over whether or not there was fraud should occur. We never had any presentation in court where we ever looked at the evidence...""

"... claims that Bill Barr pronounced there was "no widespread election fraud". "There's two sides to every story," Paul says. "Interview someone on the other side, but don't insert yourself into the story to say we're all liars." "You're forgetting who you are as a journalist if you think there's only one side," Paul says. "A journalist would hear both sides and there are two sides to this story."

Or here is another one:

Interviewer/journalist: "Do you admit that the president is corrupt?". Or here is another one: "The public in this country is not so bright. Can you repeat this in English please?". Like this, there are literally hundreds of thousands of examples of journalists interviewing others and they wave their strong opinions in the questions and content of the interview.

Looking at how governments are performing, I would say the UK, US and India are the only countries, who did not only talk, but they also delivered excellent work in the fight against the pandemic. The rest is moaning and groaning and of course still in panic mode.
